Special Features of TL-COLOR Color Management System

Feature 1 : Brilliant Coloring Coupled with Smooth Gradation Expression

The amount of ink used is optimized based on the ink absorption performance of TL-COLOR Ink on various types of media, and the color reproduction range is maximized. In addition, TL-COLOR Ink volume control technology and TL-COLOR Ink printing technology have been developed, and brilliant coloring is successfully achieved together with smooth, subtle gradation properties across the entire color reproduction range.

Feature 2 : Color Management of TL-COLOR Ink through Colorimetry

When printing was undertaken in the past using fluorescent ink, operations that depended on instincts and experience,
such as adjustment of image data and ink volume, had to be repeatedly performed in order to reproduce targeted colors.
As a result, a great deal of time and money were wasted to finally produce the final printed material. At TAKA, we developed a new colorimetry system for quantitative understanding of colors that emit light when exposed to ultraviolet light. The foundation for color management of TL-COLOR Ink was established by the use of this system.

Feature 3 : Cutting-Edge Color Management System for UV Fluorescent Ink

Using the colorimetry system for TL-COLOR UV Fluorescent Ink, we have successfully developed the world’s first ICC Profile for UV Fluorescent Ink, and unique color management technologies. These TAKA’s cutting-edge technologies add significant value to printed materials through accurate color control and incomparable color balance for UV Fluorescent invisible ink.
